Papillomatosis Disease
While more common in central and south american psittacines,Papillomatosis Disease is one that you should be familiar with.
Papillomatosis Disease can mimic other diseases such as foreign objects, bacterial & fungal infections, lead poisoning and Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD)
Note, infected birds should not be housed with non-infected birds, as it is spread through contact.
While the human papillomas virus and Papillomatosis Disease are both a herpesvirus, they are different strains and are not considered a zoonotic disease.
