Proventricular Dilatation Disease (PDD)

PDD, once known as Macaw Wasting Syndrome in the 1970's is still a very scarey and deadly disease.
Originally named because it was thought to be limited to macaws, we have found out, it is not.
Dr Ritchie and his staff have been working for years to find a cure. Please get familiar with the disease, and support his efforts. One never knows who it will strike next. There is no cure, and only the only outcome is eventual death.
